According to the map, we've only gone 4 inches.". July 8-12, 2015 Green Top Cabin. Lindsey and I headed out to Yakobi Island and the outer coast to do some exploring/fishing. The weather called for 10 knot winds out of the west with a 4-5' swell which is about as good as it gets. We had a fantastic time exploring and fishing and even got a chance to have dinner with some new friends (Roman, Pat, Carl and Sue) next to the cabin. Here is a quick video of the trip:. According to the map, we've only gone 4 inches.". December 14, 2014. But as I travelled along the trail I had to slow to a walk which actually struck me as a good sign. I then came across this old mining car with the requisite rail and such around it. Then I came to this creek pouring out of the hillside. Upon closer examination, it was clear that it had a mining history. So it was a wonderful run and reminded me of the cool stuff that exists in Juneau to see and experience.
