March 20, 2016. March 20, 2016. It took 9 months. There was crying, there was laughing, there was a ton of people and pain. The pain wasn’t physical, the pain was emotional. Wanting him there. He wasn’t. Month after month I needed him beside me. I needed him to be my rock. I needed him to show me this family was what he wanted. Like he said. But they were lies.
