What does it mean to live “green”?

What is it like to live in a sustainable society? If we want to live sustainably, how should we feel about nature? About our forests and rivers? What is the traditional Japanese way of life, and what can it teach us today? More than anything else, is about a mentality that pervaded Japanese society then and which can serve as a beacon for our own efforts to achieve sustainability today. I cannot overstate the importance of Just Enough. Architect and author of. The Not So Big House series.

Also I would like to thank Heather, Jennifer Flood, and Richard Patrick for their excellent feedback. Stories, New and Old.

I don’t easily accept things or roll with my circumstances if they do not line up with how I think it should be or what I expected.
