http://huckleberries-and-rice.blogspot.com/2006/06/why-adoption-why-china_22.html
Thursday, June 22, 2006. As I begin this journey, many people have asked me "Why do you want to adopt? Don't you want to have a baby of your own? My first response is never spoken out loud, but always the first thing that enters my mind and goes something like this."My own? You moron, what are adopted kids if they are not your own? Now, I know they only mean having a biological child, but really! More on this topic later. Let me tell you why I want to adopt. I am ready to be a Mom. LOVE your blog, Sara!

Huckleberries and Rice: A break from the snow...
http://huckleberries-and-rice.blogspot.com/2008/12/break-from-snow.html
Saturday, December 20, 2008. A break from the snow. Today, the sun is shining and it's a warm 6 degrees here in North Idaho. All the roads are plowed now, so we ventured out and visited my Dad this morning. It's supposed to snow another 8-12 inches tomorrow, so getting out of the house was mandatory today. I was starting to get cabin fever! My Dad's back yard is sooo pretty with all the snow right now, so thought I'd post some pictures from his camera. Wheee, Grandpa has a new slide to play on!
