Thursday, May 16, 2013. Tribute to a Marine - Part III. Things which are too wonderful for me. The way of a man with a maid. Garrison came out of active duty in the Marines with a prayer and a plan. He wanted to find his wife and to go to school to be a Diesel Mechanic. He also bought a motorcycle. God heard his prayer and worked his plan;. Which was obviously God's plan all along! As Garrison prayed and talked with his parents it became more and more clear whom it was God had chosen to be his wife.

Monday, September 9, 2013. Apples to Applesauce 2013. From Me is thy fruit found. Each year, our four apple trees provide us with abundance fruit. And this year was no different; although, we had a bumper crop! One of our favorite things, by which to preserve this gift from the Lord,. Is to make applesauce. It all begins with 'apple-picking'. In order to reach the choicer fruit up in the top, some 'contriving' had to be done with the ladders. It worked great with team effort. And took turns at the top.

Journey to Shiloh: 14th Anniversary at our Little Brown House
http://journeytoshiloh.blogspot.com/2015/07/14th-anniversary-at-our-little-brown.html
Wednesday, July 1, 2015. 14th Anniversary at our Little Brown House. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. It was 14 years ago that we woke up for the first time in our new home. It was a dream come true! We had prayed for months for a little rancher in the country, close to State Farm, most preferably in Downs. We also wanted the land to remind us of our home in Virginia; in other words to have trees, lots of trees! It seemed like an impossible prayer list to be filled, but we believed God!

Friday, March 16, 2012. A Tribute to an Airman! March 2, 2006:. It had been six weeks since Joshua 'stepped into adulthood' to pursue his calling. He left Texas and was now in Mississippi at Keesler Air Force base. We enjoyed talking with him by cell phone as he made the bus ride East and we traveled in our van North. This was right after Katrina and there was much to describe as he traveled along the damage coast line. Looks like Josh is not liking what he is hearing! Airman Young however is. He has bec...

Journey to Shiloh: April 2013
http://journeytoshiloh.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
Tuesday, April 16, 2013. And they shall come from the east. And shall sit down in the kingdom of God. Our four children would tell us how much they loved Jesus and they were absorbing everything we taught them regarding obedience to the Word of God. Yet, during Worship each Lord's Day, when our entire family would go up for communion, the 'bread and the wine' had to be passed by them. They could not partake of the covenant feast. Our children were not baptized. He date was chosen. April 14, 2013. When we...
