He gets to sit in a special chair, wear a "VIP" button, gets a bracelet, and must complete a timeline of his life to share with the class. Huh Turns out that's a lousy photo. Dan's school does a fundraiser every other year in which they take a piece of each child's artwork and make it into printable art. It can be made into magnets, mugs, shirts, bags, pot holders - a ton of different options. Two years ago Dan created this image:. So I got out of bed, put jelly beans and candy and small toys in eggs, made a basket from a few things I'd picked up and a few things I stole out of the playroom and re-gifted to him (I'm not the only one who does this, am I? And hid eggs around the family room. Turns out he does still believe. So glad EB and I went to the effort.

Moments in time and bittersweet milestones in the life of Daniel. Friday, May 25, 2012. Daniel tried Broccoli once, about three years ago. It was so abhorrent to him. Since then we have used "Tastes like broccoli! Whenever Dan wanted a taste of something scrumptious we are eating in hopes of deterring him. Okay, I never said it worked. Broccoli came with my entree, and it was very mild. I dipped it in butter (yeah, I know) and told Dan he could have another of my shrimp if he tasted it. Rose and Ben Blog.
