Its Rare, But It Sometimes Happens. I guess my writer's block is over. Sep 9th, 2010 at 7:16 PM. Why can't I write when I'm happy? Reasons it's good to be single:. I get over my writer's block and can now write about people dying again. I can squee over tiny dogs. I can talk about cats dying. I'm sure there's more but the ache in my chest just kind of swallows up any coherent thoughts. Oshawa, ON, Canada (2008 - 2011). I used to think living is what I did in the spaces between my awkward moments. I've since decided that it is the awkward moments that fill in the gaps left by unachievable societal conventions and reality, and that without these (highly embarrassing) moments, life would be incredibly dull indeed.
