Sure, the seats were spacious and comfortable, but it just doesn't work. We made it, however, and stumbled bleary-eyed and exhausted into the Arequipa terminal. Tuesday, May 3, 2011. After a long day in airports and vans, we are in Hostal Iquique in Lima, Peru. The flights went pretty smoothly and our hostel is muy quaint. It feels great to finally be here after talking about it for months. It also feels great to fly all day and be in a similar time zone. No jet lag! Looking forward to the adventure! Thursday, February 17, 2011. The next day we explored Hong Kong island. It was all going fine until we came to the tram to the peak. The line was a little long, but since everyone said we had. Hong Kong surprised both of us. When I was sitting in the Bangkok airport I was not looking forward to going back to the developed world. But the energy of Hong Kong is contagious. Wednesday, August 11, 2010. There is so much to say about this trip. I have been wanting to go now for almost 11 years. It finally happened. I wish I had had more time but I am so grateful I got to go. I know it was a lot for Sunita but I cannot thank her enough for inviting Ryan and I along on her first trip back.
