Kadri in South Africa. The blog of Kadri Aavik. Thursday, November 10, 2005. Exactly this time last week I was in Cape Town airport, waiting for my flight. Now I've been home for almost a week. I have a few thoughts and feelings i'd like to express. I can say one thing for sure- the 4 months I spent in South Africa has probably been the best time of my life, it's unlike anything I've ever experienced. It will be difficult to leave because I've become so used to the life here. I've become friends with many people here and the thought of not seeing them again makes me incredibly sad. Kadri in South Africa. The blog of Kadri Aavik. Thursday, September 22, 2005. Yesterday we went to the matric ball (this is how they call the prom here) of the 12th grade. It took place in the Ritz Hotel in Cape Town. The event was supposed to start at 6. When we arrived, nobody was there yet. We waited almost 2 hours! The girls were wearing amazing dresses!
