Adventures of GrampC and Grammy. Saturday, May 23, 2009. Play Date with Cousin Kady. On Thursday Auntie Lisa and cousin Kady came over so Drew and Kady could have a play date. Drew was actually giving Kady lots of hugs and kisses and showing her exactly how to play with the toys attached to the exersaucer. While it was a destination wedding for them - Minnesota to California - it was a 2 hour drive and an overnight stay for us. And memories to last a lifetime! Adventures of GrampC and Grammy. Monday, June 28, 2010. It's Been Way Too Long. You would think that once your children are in the 30 something category you would be done with daycare issues. Well, Brenda was traveling this week for work and Dave was give the opportunity to follow so being a "Good Grammy" I said I would keep Drew. For the first time in 17 years, Dave spent Christmas with his Mom, Stepdad and siblings (well, minus one who lives in Arizona). And even better yet it was a white Christmas - as in snow on the ground, it didn't snow that day. Of course the first thing Drew wants to do is open presents, unfortunately we made him wait until everyone woke up. He was really patient though. Was opening up one of his two stockings.

While I posted already about Drew's Friend's Birthday Party (MineCraft), that party was nearly a month after the big day. If you ever wondered what a 7 Year Old looks like, here you go. Drew's Birthday fell on a Friday this year, so he had to go to school. So I grabbed the birthday photo on our way to drop him off. And he got his free dessert (that Mommy and Daddy finished). Three Times the Giggles.

Last Tuesday Drew's Kindergarten class put on a Musical for the parents. Here is the program. So when he arrived on stage we were shocked he wasn't wearing the costume rather the sweat pants and shirt we sent him in.
