Grandma Bonnie's House: August 2012
http://grandmabonnieshouse.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Tuesday, August 21, 2012. On July 28th We went to Burnaby which was one of the early settlements here in British Columbia. There was a pioneer village which reminded me a lot of Nauvoo with a blacksmith, early printing press, general store, dentist, etc. It was near a lake so there was a lot of nice scenery as well. These are our senior missionies - minus the one taking the picture. This bear actually throws this stick. And now I will show you where we spend out days in the office. We love you all!

Grandma Bonnie's House: July 2012
http://grandmabonnieshouse.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
Sunday, July 1, 2012. We try to get out and walk almost everyday, since we spend so much time in the mission office. Steveston Village is probably our favorite place to walk. We love the water and the fishing boats, the boardwalk and the docks. The fishermen bring their boats up to the dock and sell the fish right out of their boats. There is even a boat that we see docked in the evening called the. This is one of the shopping and restaurant areas. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

Grandma Bonnie's House: December 2012

Wednesday, December 19, 2012. Steveston Village at Sunset. I don't remember the name of this park, but it is right by the University of Victoria. There seem to be beautiful parks all over British Columbia. Of course they don't have to spend a fortune on water as we would in Utah. I have no idea why there is this huge space here. If anyone knows a more user friendly blog program let me know. Victoria harbor during the day. Hmmmm I don't know if you really want to see this. I think it is interesting.

Grandma Bonnie's House: June 2012

Thursday, June 7, 2012. Lynn Canyon Park Suspension Bridge. This is Gassy Jack (big deal, eh). This area is very culturally deverse as we have said. I took this from a helicopter ride we went on (just kidding). But Vancouver is a beautiful city. Just to show you that we are by the water. The Temple and Transfers. The Celestial Room was so beautiful and quiet. I think the missionaries had mixed feelings. They were quite somber and kind of sad. Then they started the back slapping and hugging. These picture...

Tuesday, October 9, 2012. It has been a few weeks since we were at Salt Spring Island but I have finally put together some pictures that I took on our trip. These are about 10% of all I took but I don't want to take too much of your time and hopefully will give you a feel of what we experienced. We started pretty early in the morning to catch a ferry. This is a sunrise, not sunset. We passed this ferry that was just like ours. How would it be to have your own private boat dock in your back yard. I don't ...

Grandma Bonnie's House: May 2012
http://grandmabonnieshouse.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html
Saturday, May 5, 2012. We actually got our family together for a picture before we left. This includes everyone but Jeff, Kathryn and Vivi Glenn who are living in Atlanta and Tim Glenn who is serving in the Canada Montreal Mission. Too bad the sun was in our eyes! Well, we finished our first week at the MTC! And they were all on basically the same level as we were. I just wish I could hear about the experiences they are going to have. Here we are under the map at the MTC. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
