Great 20th century symphonists - LJ Knows Good Music. Great 20th century symphonists. Laquo; previous entry. Next entry ». Jun 17th, 2013 05:26 pm. Two more entries, somewhat better-known, and very talkative about their works and styles, in my series of great but obscure (to certain values of "obscure") 20th century symphonists. Two quite different guys who've inspired me for decades, Alan Hovhaness.

Airport transportation?: potlatchcon
http://potlatchcon.livejournal.com/16700.html
Does the Potlatch website have a write-up on getting to the hotel? I am most interested in getting to the hotel from the airport, but I imagine there are others who would be interested in similar info for bus, train, freeways, et cetera. I searched, but I did not find this info; perhaps I was not looking in the right place. Post a new comment. We will log you in after post. We will log you in after post. Roots and Fruits - Don't Eat With Your Mouth Full
http://steepholm.livejournal.com/436532.html
Dont Eat With Your Mouth Full. Where can we live but days? It would have been particularly shaming for me to have discovered that my ancestors were amongst the slave-owners compensated by the British government on the abolition of slavery in 1833, especially when some of them at least had been so vocal in the abolitionist movement. I was relatively confident in their integrity, but not entirely: after all, they certainly knew and corresponded with slavers, such as Pierce Butler. 2015-07-23 02:41 pm (UTC).

Dont Eat With Your Mouth Full. Where can we live but days? I owe the eager world a post about the IRSCL Congress, but I got up at 5.30am today and am now too tired to do anything but answer. 1 Marmite- love or hate? Love So much love. On toast, as soldiers with a runny egg, or just added as a little something extra to vivify a sandwich made with some bland cheese such as brie. 2 Marmalade- thick cut or thin cut? 3 Porridge- made with milk or water? For feeding to horses, as per Dr Johnson. If the Bristol...

Dont Eat With Your Mouth Full. Where can we live but days? PS On words and sexuality. Reading the comments to my previous post, I found this melancholy epigram drifting through my head more or less fully formed. Tom Eliot, I feel your pain:. Why won't words stay where they've been shoved? I took a lover and slept with him,. And yet we neither slept nor loved. 2015-07-09 04:08 pm (UTC). 2015-07-09 12:25 pm (UTC). I've got spurs that jingle jangle jingle - Dry Ice Factory
http://randy-byers.livejournal.com/592979.html
Good place to get some thinking done. I've got spurs that jingle jangle jingle. Jul 20th, 2015 at 9:46 AM. Well, friends, last Wednesday I was diagnosed with shingles. I make this announcement both as a public service (in case you've been wondering what black hole I fell into) and because I have an obsession to write about the things important to me. I've known for years that shingles was supposed to be unpleasant, and by golly now I know it's true! Fortunately for me, it could've been worse than it is.

The Old Weird wasn’t good enough - Arthur D. Hlavaty

The Old Weird wasn’t good enough - Arthur D. Hlavaty. From the Oval Throne of Pope Guilty I. 01 April 2017 @ 08:29 am. The Old Weird wasn’t good enough. I tend to the vulgar oversimplification that science fiction is a literature of ideas and fantasy is a literature of dragons, so when there arose a thoughtful, rigorous writer who insisted that he wrote fantasy, I wanted to ask a question from my childhood: Who lost China? 1 comment Leave a comment. Corbyn Sat Upon a Tree, Large and Black as Black Might Be - Don't Eat With Your Mouth Full
http://steepholm.livejournal.com/436437.html
Dont Eat With Your Mouth Full. Where can we live but days? Corbyn Sat Upon a Tree, Large and Black as Black Might Be. We're quite a few weeks into the Labour leadership campaign now, and I've still to hear any of those opposing Jeremy Corbyn explain exactly what is wrong with his policies. Instead, there's been:. A) a lot of vague handwaving about how he would be taking the party "backwards" from the new true blue future (Tony Blair) and how the MPs who nominated him are "morons" (John McTernan). C) and,...
