Peace and Plenty: February 2015
http://peaceandplenty2012.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
Friday, 27 February 2015. Finally all pieces have come together. The Internet and phone service on the French islands are not like the English islands at all. We now have no phone or Internet on the boat because of the high prices. Phone doesn't matter so much but we do miss news and weather we were getting. But it does make you get off the boat and go to town have a beer and buy a fresh baguette. Can you see our boat from here? Tuesday, 17 February 2015. And Then We Wait. Saturday, 7 February 2015.

Peace and Plenty: December 2014
http://peaceandplenty2012.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Friday, 26 December 2014. Christmas dinner at Jambe de Bois. Lise on Zardo provided two cakes for dessert and music that turned out to be for dancing. Getting everything loaded into dinghys and getting it all there hot proved to be challenge but worked out well. Food was served in the pots with lids no serving dishes. We started at 2:00 and were home about 5:00 before sunset so everyone was happy and stuffed like a turkey! Tuesday, 16 December 2014. Saturday, 13 December 2014. Sitting in the Bay. Today i...

This is a picture of the bay with the town behind. Friday, 24 January 2014. Dawn and Laurie's idea of a fun walk and ours is sometimes different. Peace and Plenty: It was an " And Then Day "
http://peaceandplenty2012.blogspot.com/2015/02/it-was-and-then-day.html
Saturday, 7 February 2015. It was an And Then Day. The rig is up! Brian looked at the dinghy. The first time we sailed with the dinghy up on the new davits and all was good, not much swing. He saw the back stay adjuster spewing oil. It had totally lost all the pressure on the back stay. The piece that holds the mast back. We went to bed! 7:50 am, February 08, 2015. Youve accomplished much and soon be on your way to Martinique. Well done! This will all be behind you soon. Have a great sail and fair winds!

Peace and Plenty: And Then We Wait
http://peaceandplenty2012.blogspot.com/2015/02/and-then-we-wait.html
Tuesday, 17 February 2015. And Then We Wait. As I write this the weather is looking like we will have rain any moment. The rain catchers are in place ready to collect enough for laundry. We have decided to wait here for Dawn and Laurie on Cat Tales. The weather is not supposed to be great for the next few days with lots of swells and we are in a good bay for that. They will leave when the seas look good. We will have a couple weeks to spend around here. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). And Then We Wait.

Peace and Plenty: A walk to Saline Point
http://peaceandplenty2012.blogspot.com/2015/03/a-walk-to-saline-point.html
Sunday, 1 March 2015. A walk to Saline Point. After some time cruising the anchorage and trying a couple of spots they settled down nearer the shore and in a somewhat sheltered area. I wonder if the owners were surprised? So as we sit and wait for the weather to lighten up so we can sail we are enjoying our time here. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Peace and Plenty: November 2014
http://peaceandplenty2012.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Thursday, 20 November 2014. The outside cockpit cushions turned out well too. I had taken home the old covers and patterned new ones and made them. The last sewing was too much for my home machine so I had to have the two layers and the piping sewn by an upholstery company in London. After some tight folding they fit into our luggage and arrived in good shape. The bits and pieces for our rigging work on the mast have been ordered and we are awaiting news on that. We don't expect any action there for ...
