I would have loved to paint the bathroom, but that just wasn't in the budget this time around, so I found a cute curtain that I liked at Target, and built the bathroom around that. Thursday, May 27, 2010. 9 Years and Counting. Yesterday Ike and I celebrated our 9 yr wedding anniversary. I wanted to post something yesterday, but just didn't find the time. So, here it is. Thursday, July 14, 2011. Emma's 8th birthday party. Emma turned 8 on June 27th. We decided this year to not actually have a "party", and instead to just take her to Chuck E Cheese. Monday, June 27, 2011. Happy 8th Birthday Emma! It's so hard to believe that 8 years ago today, I gave birth (without an epidural) to a sweet little 6lb, 9oz baby girl that I named Emma June. She has grown so much and seems to be more and more like me everyday. We are celebrating with her today by taking her to a movie this afternoon, and her cake is cooling on the stove.
