Thursday, May 27, 2010. This is Landon's Very Hungry Caterpillar Quilt:. One of the things I really look forward to doing when I complete a quilt is naming it and creating a fun label to put on the back. I love making these special quilts for my grandchildren. Landon - my very hungry little caterpillar. Isn't he a cutie? We decided that we hadn't spent enough time with the Larsen's at Christmas, so we made another trip up to Utah the end of February and spent a few more days with them.

Wednesday, May 27, 2009. What Happened to Spring? As usual, we're way over due for a update. April and May was pretty eventful for us which is why, now that it's nearly June, we're wondering how we missed out on Spring. Mid-April took us up to Utah - a few days with Nicole, Jon and the girls. Brooklyn is always so excited to see us and keeps reminding us throughout our visit how happy she is that we are there. She and Jacey planned a birthday party for Grandpa complete with games and balloons.

Tuesday, September 21, 2010. The End of an Era. So here we are, attending the last graduation of our children and seeing Jeff receive his Master of Accountancy degree from the University of Denver. It was a fun filled two days of ceremonies and celebration. The first day was the "hooding" ceremony. Jeff is anxiously awaiting his moment. Keeping Austin entertained while so Mommy, Daddy, and Grandpa can enjoy the event. Proud moment for the Mitchells. Ready for that long awaited diploma. The End of an Era.

I feel like Mammoth is one of those forgetful places for a summer time visit as it always reminds you of just a winter destination. We had a fabulous time fishing, shopping, hiking, and hanging out with the Seymour's and the Jacob's family. Boys preparing for the big fishing day! I said HELP make Thanksgiving dinner because I have the most AMAZING and WONDERFUL husband that love to cooks! So thanks to him Thanksgiving was super delicious and non-stressful!
