http://www.futurians.info/rational-religion.php
Faith in the Future. Conservation vs. Evolution. Why do we regard Futurism as a religion? Because it is a system of beliefs which gives us hope of addressing some of those difficult and often disquieting questions. Futurism has similarities and differences to the more traditional religions:. We have only one tenet: that it is possible to understand and comprehend anything, given sufficient time and intellectual capacity. Belief in science. Conservation vs. evolution
http://www.futurian.org/conservation-vs-evolution.php
Faith in the Future. Conservation vs. Evolution. Conservation vs. evolution. Futurians recognise that change is integral to life, whether viewed as an individual, a species or an ecosystem. Just as we seek to continuously evolve intellectually as individuals, discarding some ideas and embracing new, we also recognise that our environment must continuously change around us. This applies to species, and some must adapt and some must be allowed to become extinct.

Futurian Responsibilities
http://www.futurian.info/responsibilities.php
Faith in the Future. Conservation vs. Evolution. Futurians recognise that as a society we have a number of responsibilities:. Global society is a grossly unfair. Technology promises to solve many of those problems though; it is entirely possible to envisage a world where we all (as in every living human) want for nothing and could devote all our time to the pursuit of art, science, and fun. That utopia will only be possible through massive technological advancement and widespread education.

Religiousness / beliefs
http://www.futurian.org/beliefs.php
Faith in the Future. Conservation vs. Evolution. There are deliberately cultural and religious aspects to the Futurian symbol. In some senses Futurism asks its followers to believe in two things: 1) science/reason and 2) the universe, including our living planet (hence the logo's. Pagan Goddess Triple Moon element).
