Occasional updates regarding her brain cancer journey.Pray, Cry, Laugh, Share. Wednesday, August 10, 2011. 4 weeks till Sept MRI. Today is Wednesday, August 10 and it marks 4 weeks till my next MRI. The previous scan in February was extremely LOUD and bothersome (more than usual). Laying for 40 minutes was difficult then and I cannot imagine what it will be like. I helped Marta celebrate her 17th birthday last night with Johanna and Megan. We went to the Chocolate Bar in Lafayette Square and had WAY TOO MUCH FUN! We laughed so much (at one point I thought I burst something inside myself), ate a lot, and just generally had a blast! I am SURE we were a mystery to the other people in that evening, but oh well!

I will say this, the color USED to be a poorly painted on light cream/ white ish. my parents and i painted (everything but the bathroom) this beautiful, quality paint color called "dust bunny" and it looks AMAZING now! Thursday, November 5, 2009. Like all young kids, my children love bubbles. They are so marvelous and beautiful and fascinating, those bubbles. Just like young children. We have a little $3 bubble machine that creates a lot of excitement over here. We took it out to play, but it was a bit windy. The yards in our neighborhood are not fenced, and this creates a mighty wind tunnel down our block. Ava tried to catch them, but they were moving pretty fast that afternoon. Tuesday, September 7, 2010. August was a wonderful, busy month! Now that the school year is back in session, we're all settling into our weekly routines and taking a breather! So, picking up on my effort to update the blog, these are some shots of the kiddos playing outside at Papa's Cooper's house during our trip there in May. O-man loved the swing. My brother and his girlfriend, Katie, had a daughter yesterday, Isabelle Mae DeMoss. I am her only aunt (I feel that this is important info)! BELIEVE ME, more pics to come!
