everyday amy: Where have I been???
http://everydayamy.blogspot.com/2012/11/where-have-i-been.html
Thursday, November 29, 2012. Where have I been? Yikes, I realize it's been way too long since I've written a post. But considering the last time I wrote, I knocked out around 5-6 posts in about 24 hours. And I DID say I was taking a break, right? It really wasn't intentional to take this long of a break though, I promise! I'm on hiatus temporarily :(. In the meantime, it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas around the Boggs' home, so I can't wait to post a little house tour of our decor!

Saturday, November 26, 2011. A happy turkey weekend. Pictures, pictures, pictures! Wednesday evening after Thanksgiving dinner #1, we headed off to Greensboro, GA to Greg's parents house. They live on Lake Oconee and have a beautiful home! There were so many people at their Thanksgiving gathering. Grandparents, aunts, uncles, 6 cousins, and of course our family. Mama and Dwayne :). Happy Thanksgiving, hubs! Check out this turkey! There was so much turkey, but we gobbled. It was sooo much fun! I don't kno...

everyday amy: DIY Patchwork Letters
http://everydayamy.blogspot.com/2012/11/diy-patchwork-letters.html
Tuesday, November 6, 2012. For baby Hudson, I wanted to make something I could use for party decor but that could also be used in his nursery at home. I found a tutorial for making fabric covered letters and since I had a bunch of fabric I was using anyways (for the caramel party favors), I thought this would be the perfect thing. Then I started at one corner, applied a layer of Mod-Podge, then stuck my fabric down. I continued to work my way around the edges layering the patterns. On corners it ...Secre...

Sunday, January 29, 2012. So Greg's mom had been in town a lot over the last 2 months, mostly helping Greg's sister update and decorate their house before their 3rd baby is due in February. She helped completely remodel both the kids' bedrooms, the master bedroom, the den, bathrooms.yep, the whole house got a MAJOR make-over! And first thing Saturday morning, we were painting! We had already taken the cabinet doors off when we took this pic. And here are the doors. Greg was a big help too, even though he...

Wednesday, February 29, 2012. Another niece on the way! It's time, it's time! Baby Cate is finally going to make her arrival tomorrow! I'm so excited to meet her! I had to work all last weekend, and although I'm anxious to meet my newest niece, I was afraid she would come over the weekend when I'd be stuck at work. Well, I'm scheduled to work tomorrow also but thanks to a dear fellow nurse, I will get to leave at 4pm. Thank you so much Sara! I can't believe she's finally going to be here! We are all read...

Saturday, December 24, 2011. Today was a great day! It's always been a Graves family tradition for as long as I can remember to eat "Christmas morning casserole" for breakfast. So, since it was just Greg and I, we decided to make it today and eat it today and tomorrow morning. Greg LOVED it! It's actually really easy too, so it will probably become a "eat it throughout the year" casserole as well. Here's what you need:. 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese. 1 tsp dry mustard. 1 pound pork sausage. There were ab...

Thursday, September 27, 2012. Back in Bama country. Our buddy Michael came by to hang out for a bit too! We headed to the game, but actually didn't get to sit with Greg's parents. They were in their season pass seats somewhere along the 40 yard line, about 35 rows up (I think). And we were actually in some upper level seats right next to the press boxes (underneath "the Zone," if you know where that is! I was just happy to the in the shade! Wednesday, September 19, 2012. They weren't lost after all.

Sunday, October 30, 2011. Honeymoon time - Day 3. Day 3 of our honeymoon began with a trip to the Nassau Straw Market. It's a street market (picture the scene from the Disney movie Aladin. Where Jasmine walks through the market in disguise."purses for the pretty lady.jewelry, bags, hats.come take a look pretty lady.") Yep,it's just like that. It was fun, and I walked away with a straw hat (of course! And a fake Coach duffel bag. hehe. Oh, and we stopped at Senior Frog for lunch. Saturday, October 29, 2011.
