I confess. I am an art history nerd. I always try to visit museums when I travel. Well.actually I've planned some trips entirely around visiting a museum. It would be hard to list all my favorite artists, but top of the list are Brancusi, Modigliani, Maillol, Fragonard, Renoir, and Van Gogh. Art nerding it up at the Louvre. Brancusi's studio - my idea of nirvana. Sexy lighting at Les Arts Decoratifs. Accademia di Belle Arti Firenze, Florence. American Museum of Natural History, NYC. British Museum, London.

DUQ FM 90.5 News-Jazz-NPR. Goal: Make Oakland 'America's First Digital Community'. Innovation Oakland Update: Electronic kiosk prototype opens to public". For Bottom's mask in the Hartford Stage production of Midsummer Night's Dream, designer Ilona Somogyi, wanted a Picasso / Munch-esque feel with the look of carved wood. I sculpted the base, made a silicone mold, and created the mask out of liquid plastic. Mixing some sawdust into the plastic was the perfect trick to make it porous enough to take woodstain. This project was created for the 2009 Building Virtual Worlds class at the Entertainment Technology Center. For this performance piece, we used an infrared red tracking system called Playmotion and build a six string laser harp. The performer used a rope dart with an infrared light on the end of it. When they swung the light in front of the screen it's motion was detected and it generated a trailing particle effect. Electronics / Designer - Michael Hill. Sound / Designer - Christian Tsu Raun.

Photoshop Photo Retouching Practice. Shh I'm putting together a photo book for my mom for Christmas. I love this shot of us in front of Notre Dame, but there were some things that had to be fixed.
