Off went his clothes, and I just plopped him in the bathtub with three separate pots of paint and paintbrushes, and it didn't take him long to make masterpieces. Between the time it took to get him ready, paint, clean the tub (which only took a washcloth and Mason did most of it himself! And bathe him, Mason was probably in there for an hour and a half. Saturday, June 27, 2015. LAST DAY OF PRESCHOOL. Well it's been awhile. A bit longer than intended. I guess life has been happening for us, and now I have a few things to catch you up on. Like how my baby finished his first year of preschool. He was pretty squirrelly on this day (not to mention SUPER shaggy) so we only got a select number of pictures where he would actually look at the camera, but I suppose that is common at this age. Wednesday, July 6, 2011. A while back, I had pinned this. Image on my pinterest board. So last night, I tried it. I found a white shadowbox frame that was 10" x 10", so I started by making a stencil that was approximately 8" x 8". I had originally printed some letters out on the computer, but in the end, I just went with a really simple M shape. Hmmm.was that a hint? The last thing I did before starting was that I actually had my inspiration picture pulled up on my laptop so I could refer back to it.

Saturday, July 12, 2014. GETTING BACK TO CRAFTY. Oh right, me, Katie, the hoarder. So anyway, I came across these pillows recently, and thank the Lord I convinced myself to throw away the chewed up pillow covers. But the inserts.well I surely could find something to do with them, right? Spoiler alert: I did (see above). I cut that sucker up, sewed it into some new pillow covers, and voila! Monday, July 7, 2014. This is the one where I told them to scream. Ha! Oh, and Byron is totally faking. Oh, that kid!

The calendar was full most every day with something going on. A lot of canning and preserving of food happened too!
