Sunday, December 8, 2013. Fourth of July was spent the way it has been for years, at the Hillcrest Neighborhood Parade. It was so great to be back this summer after moving away. Friday, May 30, 2014. November was obviously so busy, I have no pictures! AK dressed as an explorer and gave a great presentation. Thankful to be out of the house. MP got the tummy bug. This Thanksgiving was definitely very different for us. Mike had to work, and Jen and Jake moved to the other side of the country. We had no traditonal food, or special traditions. The Nickels and a Penny. Friday, November 30, 2012. Yarn wreaths and colored candles can only mean one thing. Christmas season has arrived in full force at the Nickel house this week. Got lights up on our house. I know, it's still November, but considering that our neighbors have had theirs up since before Thanksgiving, I feel like a major slacker here!
