Take a wish… | inhaling life, exhaling in words
https://starchedsentences.wordpress.com/2008/09/01/take-a-wish
Inhaling life, exhaling in words. Take a wish…. Of someone else’s, that is) and make it come true. 🙂. Instead of spending on tokens for the guests to their wedding, my brother and his fiancee decided to give their budget for tokens to the Make A Wish Foundation. And helped make the wish of 15-year-old Christian come true (the donation got him his wish of a PS2! Ain’t that cooler than giving away event tokens which more often than not sit around and collect dust? Tags: Make A Wish. Feed for this Entry.

Iniibig ko ang Pilipinas!: March 2008
http://iniibigkoangpilipinas.blogspot.com/2008_03_01_archive.html
Thursday, March 20, 2008. I have just read this article, Branding the Philippines (in an increasignly) Flat World. From the title itself, the article is obviously about marketing. But as I read the article, I have this impression that what the authors are trying to say is not far from my own advocacy. When the article stated WE ARE THE BRAND, instantly there is a connection. The article continues,. And so does Iniibig ko ang Pilipinas, it begins from our heart. Nobody will buy such a brand. We contin...

Letters from Asia: May 2007
http://lettersfromasia.blogspot.com/2007_05_01_archive.html
Wednesday, May 23, 2007. A common sight in China: The bicycle traffic signal. (Let's hope they don't become a thing of the past with China's increasing car-owner population.). Wednesday, May 16, 2007. Xikou, Anhui - the base of operations for a weekend in the sticks - your average, dusty, small town in China, population 20,000. It reminded me somewhat of the old west - and I love the hand-painted signs on every building. After a stop at the opening ceremony for Xikou's "Tea Culture" Festival, we stopped ...

Iniibig ko ang Pilipinas!: October 2007
http://iniibigkoangpilipinas.blogspot.com/2007_10_01_archive.html
Friday, October 19, 2007. A collective wound needs a collective action. With nine people dead and more than a hundred injured, we have another dark day in our history. We can always speculate on who the perpetrators are but our speculation may most likely be tainted by our personal biases. And as we speculate, the more we magnify the rift that prevails in our land. Blogs are excellent examples. The Inquirer has reported blogger covering the Makati blast. Bloggers brought Malu Fernandez down on her knees&...

Iniibig ko ang Pilipinas!: Congratulations President NOYNOY
http://iniibigkoangpilipinas.blogspot.com/2010/05/congratulations-president-noynoy.html
Friday, May 14, 2010. For more than a year, I have not posted on this blog. It is a reflection of the kind of hopelessness I felt during that time. When Cory died last year, I felt the emptiness, the anxiety of things will go from worse to worst. Not until NOYNOY's name was floated to run for the presidency. My reaction was why not. Maybe Gordon or Bayani but still with a lot of reservations. Not until NOYNOY accepted the challenge to run. How are you first? We both love noynoy. May 15, 2010 at 7:02 AM.

Iniibig ko ang Pilipinas!: Fighting corruption
http://iniibigkoangpilipinas.blogspot.com/2009/01/fighting-corruption.html
Friday, January 2, 2009. The following was posted on the comment section of this blog. Fighting corruption is the best way to fight powerty. But how do we fight corruption? Even the Church has failed in this area. Only if the Church has guided its flock well, we will not be in this mess we are in right now. The Church teaches the rightwus path and the people don't seem to follow. Iniibig ko ang Pilipinas! October 23, 2009 at 7:44 AM. October 23, 2009 at 7:53 AM. It does not work in our country! We must t...
