Monday, June 17, 2013. Kyra started swim lessons today. She has lessons Monday through Thursday for two weeks. She was super excited to get in the pool and learn how to swim. Tuesday, May 5, 2015. Today was my due date with the baby boy we lost in October. I remember because in the short 11 wks that I was pregnant, at every appointment someone would remark that it was a fun due date. I also thought it would be cool if I actually delivered on that date because Bear's birthday is 1/1 and mine is 4/4 and this one would be 5/5. We try our best to help her navigate grief - to feel and talk about the loss but also embrace what our family looks like now. Saturday, May 2, 2015.

Friday, January 9, 2015. Happy New Year's.Happy Birthday Bear! Both Ren and I took most of last week off so we had five whole days to spend as a family. It was nice and we had a good balance of planned activities and relaxing at home. New Year's Eve we did sky lanterns. They were SO cool! It was fascinating watching them. Tuesday, February 17, 2015. But February has been unseasonably warm and it's a welcome change. And the preschooler is keeping us busy. Thursday, July 2, 2015. I had the chance to go to New Orleans for a work conference! A handful of staff from my office and more from our project across the state were all able to go so it was fun to have people to sight see with after classes each day. We left very early on a Saturday morning and didn't get back until after midnight on Wednesday. It was the longest I've been away from my little family but it was a lot of fun! Crab cheesecake and peach, Gorgonzola salad. Cafe Du Monde beignets.

Saturday, July 11, 2015. Here's the random roundup of the latest phone pictures. We found some dinosaur jammies at Costco! All dressed up and ready for church.
