Fellows Family Adventures: November 2011
http://griffsmom.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Wednesday, November 30, 2011. Did you know Shade has returned? It makes me SO happy because I loved their tanks the most. I guess they got bought out by another company so now they're online, and they have a store in University Mall. I like this:. NOT a post about Griffin. I also almost didn't even mention him, but I couldn't handle it. I used to hate it when people had blogs and only ever blogged about their children. Whoops, now it's me. Sorry :). Here's what's been going on:. Babbling that actually so...

Awfully Beautiful: April 2012

Thursday, April 19, 2012. Watson and The Shark (1778). Anyone who knows me well enough could probably tell you that Watson and the Shark. He did use a real shark after all.) Anyways you can't really blame Copley for not having a perfect understanding of the anatomy of a shark. Real zoology was still in a nascent stage in 1778 when he painted it and Darwin's On the Origin of the Species. The Impossibility of Death in the Mind of Someone Living. Sources and in the end combined everything he saw in a way th...

Tuesday, January 10, 2012. The Impossibility of Death. I was just watching a video about the development of sculpture on smarthistory.org. And while displaying an image of Damien Hirst’s. The Physical Impossibility of Death in the Mind of Someone Living,. The narrators questioned its meaning and whether or not it really could be considered a sculpture. Here are my thoughts…. The Impossibility of Death in the Mind of Some one Living,. Well…here come my thoughts again. Pieter Bruegel, The Triumph of Death,.

Fellows Family Adventures: October 2011
http://griffsmom.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
Monday, October 24, 2011. Mommy was a little more afraid of him being touched by animals than he was :). Grandma had been wanting to take Griffin to see Farm Country for awhile, so we decided to go do it during the day since I'm no longer working. I still don't always remember that I'm able to go do whatever I want now that I don't have my days all planned out! It was really nice weather and it wasn't busy at all. I guess he's not shy with the animals either :). Friday, October 21, 2011. For now it will ...

Fellows Family Adventures: Cuddles...
http://griffsmom.blogspot.com/2012/07/cuddles.html
Monday, July 9, 2012. Every once and awhile, Griffin will cuddle with me. He is a pretty cuddly guy in general, as long as he's drinking a bottle or having us read books to him, but he rarely cuddles beyond that. I love to drink in the moments when they come, so this post is for me to remind myself later. There's nothing like a little one lying on your chest.love it. Cuddles are the BEST! Fellows Family Adventures: June 2012
http://griffsmom.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Monday, June 11, 2012. Our house is coming along! We've been picking things right and left - everything is completely custom, so we have to pick colors and materials for things you'd never imagine, even things no one really sees! That's been keeping us busy. Last weekend we picked granite, lighting (chandeliers all over! And the mantel, and we're starting to get a handle on paint. The framing is almost finished, and so is the heating. This week I think they're doing the roof! Here's a sneak peek:. Talkin...

Awfully Beautiful: Pissed
http://awfullybeautifulart.blogspot.com/2012/02/pissed.html
Wednesday, February 29, 2012. Look at this image. What are your first thoughts while looking at it? Does it provoke your emotions and fill you with a deepening sense of spirituality, or do you feel nothing, think nothing as you look at it? Do you find it beautiful? After all, haven’t a million images of the crucifixion of Christ been displayed before in both private and public art collections? Why then would this particular image rile people so? The answer is in the work’s title. We would never know that...
