My Little Hobby: February 2010
http://mylittlehobby.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Monday, February 22, 2010. After making a bajillion cards for a recent women's conference that I helped plan, I had some remaining cardstock and whipped up a few more creations using the same layout. The featured image on this little 3" x 3" note card is from the Simple Delights stamp set from Stampin' Up! And the happy birthday sentiment is from a set called A Little Birthday Cheer. The cardstock colors I used are Chocolate Chip, Regal Rose, and Very Vanilla. It took a while. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

My Little Hobby: My daughter got married!
http://mylittlehobby.blogspot.com/2015/01/my-daughter-got-married.html
Tuesday, January 27, 2015. My daughter got married! Not only did my first child get home from her mission (she was in Hong Kong and Macau, representing The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for almost 19 months away from me) and returned home on Good Friday, April 18, 2014, but like many returned Mormon missionaries, she went and found herself a husband and got married! The night before the reception, I made a record breaking (for me) amount of heart shaped sugar cookies, just under 200 in abou...

My Little Hobby: July 2010
http://mylittlehobby.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
Sunday, July 11, 2010. My daughter's high school graduation. This post is a sampling of the graduation party I hosted for my lovely daughter, designed in her school colors of burnt orange, white, and black. I've always wanted to order custom M&Ms and this was just the reason (or excuse) I was looking for. The little tins were darling in and of themselves, but slightly boring for my preferences, so I had to add a bit of ribbon, a couple of coordinating cardstock colors, cut with two just-right punches.

My Little Hobby: May 2010
http://mylittlehobby.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
Wednesday, May 19, 2010. Happy grad and more. I just received this new Happy Grad stamp from Stampin' Up! And quickly put this simply layout together. Here's another quickie design that I came up with recently using a sentiment from Whimsical Words that turned out okay. I did a couple of alternate versions that I'll post later too. Got these next two from a card swap a long time ago and think they are both lovely. The wires on this butterfly make this card. Thursday, May 6, 2010. Regal Rose, Pacific Point.

My Little Hobby: Eight months of neglect, seriously?
http://mylittlehobby.blogspot.com/2012/02/eight-months-of-neglect-seriously.html
Wednesday, February 8, 2012. Eight months of neglect, seriously? I admit that I've been tremendously preoccupied lately, but didn't realize how LONG I've been ignoring and neglecting this blog. I have a really good excuse though! At a rather advanced maternal age, I got PREGNANT. I love the red and white baker's twine, which I bought at Crate and Barrel. Here are more details:. Pennant Parade, Teeny Tiny Wishes. Real Red, Green Galore. February 8, 2012 at 3:09 PM. February 8, 2012 at 3:22 PM. I didnt not...
