https://msnkambule.wordpress.com/2010/04/09/capturing-a-screenshot-showing-mouse-cursor-in-kde
Life through a Swazi's eyes. Capturing a screenshot showing mouse cursor in KDE. April 9, 2010. April 10, 2010. In this post I will describe how you can add code to capture a screenshot in KDE with the mouse cursor also shown in the image. This is being used in a video screen capture program I am currently writing using KDE. Qt and ffmpeg libraries. There is a function in Qt to capture a screenshot of the desktop, but it does not capture the cursor. Get screenshot (it has no cursor). There is no need.

Abhishek Patil's Blog…. This is just a simple hack I did today morning. This is to calculate my total internet data usages. From my ISP Reliance Netconnect Broadband. I wrote small python script to do so, this is about it how it works. Contents of CSV file looks something like this :. 23-10-2009, 03:32:49,4,0,0,0. Date Of Access Time Of Access S...

We need more bug reports | Sven's Blog

From the depths of Calligra and Krita. Laquo; KOffice Mid 2010 meeting. Have you seen this widget? We need more bug reports. The Krita 2.3 is now in development for some time and we try to make it as fast and stable as possible. For that we need more tester. Another problem with developers testing an application is that they know a lot about how the application is “supposed to work”. So the way the developers use the application is different than somebody who is new to Krita and don’...One thing I n...

Qt Quick hates me | The Geek Shall Inherit The Earth
https://majewsky.wordpress.com/2012/08/17/qt-quick-hates-me
The Geek Shall Inherit The Earth. Thoughts on KDE games hacking and everything. Qt Quick hates me. August 17, 2012. I haven’t blogged since a while, because I do not do much KDE hacking lately, but today I’ve got around to playing with QML again. The goal was to build something like a breadcrumb navigation widget, where the current directory is indicated by its name being written in a larger font. Here’s what I arrived at after a few minutes:. 40 : 20 color: "white" } } } }. Can you see it? This has been...

Laquo; kjs now with more emscripten-qt fun! Bored again: Looking into Gestures. So I was bored, and this time, after playing TRAUMA. Great game you should get it, but be aware that there is no real linux client, just flash ), I felt like looking into gestures & Qt. The assistant instantly pointed me to QGestureRecognizer and I was like Yay! This is gonna be so damn easy! For the following attempt(s) I am talking about a mouse-turn gesture. Try 1: breaking things down. NOTE: Qt sometimes sends 0,1 or 1,0 ...

Dolphin in KDE 4.5 | Celettu's Weblog
https://celettu.wordpress.com/2010/09/02/dolphin-in-kde-4-5
Lots of Love for Linux. Dolphin in KDE 4.5. KDE 45 has been good to me so far, except the monstrosity that is Dolphin. I was already irked by the slowness and the crazy sorting behaviour, now it hangs 10 t 15 seconds when I try to do CPU-heavy tasks like no file manager was ever meant to do, oh, I don’t know, move a file. Or maybe copy one. Opening a directory. Stuff like that. This entry was posted on Thursday, September 2nd, 2010 at 2:26 pm and is filed under linux. Feed You can leave a response. Is yo...
