March 28, 2010. A few thoughts from India. Yep I'm tired. I've always been someone who need a good deal of sleep. Go ahead. Ask my mom. December 30, 2009. Why am i sad? I heard on the news today that the famous Tavern of the Green in NYC is closing. It made me sad. Then i wondered, why am i sad? I've been to NY several times, and not once did i even try to find the Tavern, let alone try to dine there. (i'm sure it's out of my price range) So why do i care? May 3, 2009. So, i've actually been fairly creative lately. Though, i haven't taken the time to post any pictures. Please forgive! This is a picture i painted a while back, but i finally framed it. it's very pink. My new favorite thing to do is cover a canvas with material and paint on it. i like how this one turned out - maybe i'll keep it. I am not perfect and yes sometimes I don't want to do it, but I know that when I do, I am always blessed beyond measure. This is where I am, blessed. Monday, April 11, 2011. In Spanish, the definition of "Hermana" means sister. To me, it means so much more than that. I am blessed to have a group of women in my life who are not just family members, but women that I love, admire and trust. For the past two years, we have gathered together at Grandma's house and have sleepovers. They are so much fun and really loud! We bring our daughters, the "Hermanitas", and reconnect with each other. What a wonderful and blessed time it is! The strongest woman I know!
