I’m Moving to Seattle! Cath and I apologise for leaving AsianCajuns in the lurch these past few weeks. We’ve been having a think about things because I’ll be moving back to the States. Cath and I will no longer be ‘Twins blogging an ocean apart’! Also, we’re hoping to see much more of each other when I’m stateside and won’t need AsianCajuns to be our public pen pal letter anymore. We plan to keep blogging though — and more! We’ve loved getting to know so many of you and we hope you enjoy where Asia...

The Been Briefing: August 2014
http://worldsojourn.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
Thursday, August 14, 2014. Two months ago Jody and I moved to the small town of Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. Since then, we have done our best to dive right in, embracing all that God has for us here. And He has been so good. We have had an incredibly warm welcoming committee of people who have gone out of their way to make us feel loved and to help us settle in. I am truly grateful. And I wanted to introduce y'all to this wonderful world that we now call home in all its summertime glory. Farm) It was so much ...

The Been Briefing: January 2014
http://worldsojourn.blogspot.com/2014_01_01_archive.html
Saturday, January 18, 2014. Anna and Nate (#8 Got Married! December was such a busy month - as it always is - and I'm only now getting around to processing and celebrating the events that occurred. I love the Christmas tree! And, of course, we had to have some pictures with everyone (well, the ladies, anyway). It was really special to have all the girls present - all four Clementson sisters, as well as my brothers' wives Courtney and Rebekah, who are like sisters and might as well be! I love my family!

The Been Briefing: January 2015
http://worldsojourn.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Tuesday, January 20, 2015. December was a tough month for me. Now that I've had some time to process it, I realized that I was struggling to find a new way to rest and recuperate in our new home. When we lived in Denver, it was easy. Head west! We would pack up our gear (or maybe just pack a quick bag), load up the wienie dogs, and head into the mountains. Whether it was a day hike or a long weekend backpacking trip, Jody and I found that the surest way to rest was to spend time outdoors. Complete with a...

The arrival – Thomas’s birth story, part 2
http://www.thekriegers.org/2015/06/the-arrival-thomass-birth-story-part-2
The arrival – Thomas’s birth story, part 2. June 2, 2015. Middot; 20 Comments. This isn’t the craziest birth story you’ll ever read. It isn’t the most dramatic or fastest or the closest call. But it is. Craziest birth story. I’ve already told this story several times, and each time I feel a bit like I’m lying, or at least exaggerating because the timeline just doesn’t feel real. Whenever I tell it, every now and then I look at Tom for assurance, like, “Is that right? Mary Virginia’s birth story. I’...

The Been Briefing: Home!
http://worldsojourn.blogspot.com/2015/03/home.html
Monday, March 02, 2015. I am with my family right now, and it's been so wonderful! I'm actually in town to learn more about my dad's new business, Colonial Apps, which builds apps for small businesses. While I am here for the business, it's also provided a much-needed chance for me to spend quality time with those I love best in this world. Posted by Jody and Ruth Been. The Been Briefing: November 2014
http://worldsojourn.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Tuesday, November 25, 2014. One of the most exciting parts of living in a state with lots of trees is the whole fall season. As much as I love Colorado and the beautiful aspens in their gold splendor, the brilliance of the fall colors here in southeastern Wisconsin was breathtaking. I cannot express how much I loved watching all the trees as they turned brilliant shades of yellow, orange and red. Fall is truly one of my favorite times of the year, and I loved every minute of it! The Been Briefing: December 2014
http://worldsojourn.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Friday, December 05, 2014. More Adventures in Wisconsin. We've been in Wisconsin for six months now. It's hard to believe how the time has flown. In that time, we have done so many fun things. It's fun to look through the pictures and revisit the experience as I blog about each one. Forgive me for the delay, as I know these pictures are from a few months ago. But better late than never, right? After lunch we walked from the restaurant down to the yacht club and pier along the lake. In many ways Lake ...
