Adventures of a Young Teacher. Explore. Dream. Discover Mark Twain. I decided I was tired of the blogspot layout of blogging. it really doesn't work for me very well. The Crawdad Chronicles: May 2015
http://thecrawdadchronicles.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html
Sunday, May 31, 2015. I say it every month but how is time going by so fast? I can't believe it's the end of another year of preschool and time for summer. Here are all of our random May memories! Watching a little TV with Pappy. My flower bouquet from James. And my love note from him. He told me that the hearts represented Daddy, Mommy, James, Harrison, and baby Georgia. Melt my heart- he is such a sweetie! Favorite toy of choice lately- a water bottle to squirt. A little night time craziness before bed.

The Way By Which I've Come...: May 2011
http://thewaybywhichivecome.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
The Way By Which I've Come. Tuesday, May 17, 2011. Quite a gem of a stick figure drawing, isn't it? That is pretty powerful. God has patiently worked with me for decades to show me that not fitting in this world is exactly the right fit. Links to this post. Pack them up, Let them go. I never know what to expect as the baggage carousel spits out my luggage after each flight. Having sent out three of our own I tell you there is no joy like a well traveled suitcase- one which you had the honor of helping to...

The Way By Which I've Come...: Honoring “Dad’s Place,” Growing Friends, and the Gospel of John
http://thewaybywhichivecome.blogspot.com/2011/06/honoring-dads-place-growing-friends-and.html
The Way By Which I've Come. Wednesday, June 1, 2011. Honoring “Dad’s Place,” Growing Friends, and the Gospel of John. Vineyards have become prolific in our lovely state and I would not have to search far to snap a photo of a lush and fruitful vine. Thus, my banner photo of a scraggly, fruitless little vine tenaciously grabbing an old guide wire appears a questionable choice. However, the photo behind my blog title was chosen for a number of personal reasons. In an effort to spend time together Linda had ...

The Crawdad Chronicles: December 2014
http://thecrawdadchronicles.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Sunday, December 28, 2014. It has been a really long time since I have woken up on Christmas morning at our childhood home. And a lot has changed since then! It was really great to get to be there with my family and especially with Georgia on her first Christmas. I have an answer ready! I have tried so hard to not buy the little Legos yet but this is what James REALLY wanted. Hello to little pieces being all over our house for the next ten years. He is worth it though! I love classic toys. This is what R...

Knee-Deep In Munchkin Land. My Behind The Scenes. My Behind The Scenes. Tuesday, May 10, 2011. By Jenn @ Knee-Deep in Munchkin Land. One reason we struggle with insecurity: We’re comparing our behind-the-scenes to everyone else’s highlight reel. 8221; Steven Furtick. I’m great at washing/cleaning laundry. It’s the folding and putting away that I struggle with. On any given day, you will find 4-5 loads of clean clothes sitting on my laundry room floor. Should you decide to stop by and say hi, you will m...

December 2006 - Knee-Deep In Munchkin Land

Archive for December 2006. Yep, 10 out of 10. Thursday, December 28, 2006. By Jenn @ Knee-Deep in Munchkin Land. 10 Signs You Are VERY, VERY Pregnant. Every time you laugh, sneeze, or even smile, you pee your pants a little. Every time you pick up your toddler, you can sit her on your belly like a shelf. Every commercial involving a family, a baby, or a dog makes you cry. Flatulence… need I say more? You freak out the male cousins when they can see your belly moving from across the room. I’m sorry ...

April 2015 - Knee-Deep In Munchkin Land
http://www.biggest-blessings.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Archive for April 2015. They stole a piece of my heart. Tuesday, April 14, 2015. By Jenn @ Knee-Deep in Munchkin Land. 8220;Wait. What? 8221; I made her repeat the words again. My heart was caught in my throat and my skin grew clammy. Shock was an understatement, but there was no other way to describe the emotion. I hung up the phone with Mom. It wasn’t the call I was expecting, and my head refused to accept the news she’d shared. It couldn’t end like this…. And I’m not sure I ever will…. I’m the o...

Disconnect Breeds Discontent - Knee-Deep In Munchkin Land
http://www.biggest-blessings.com/2015/01/disconnect-breeds-discontent.html
Knee-Deep In Munchkin Land. Tuesday, January 13, 2015. By Jenn @ Knee-Deep in Munchkin Land. We’re going on seven weeks of Jon being on-call. SEVEN WEEKS. In the eleven years Jon has worked for the state, we have never dealt with such a lengthy on-call schedule. This has been hard. Harder than the time he worked 78 hours in one week. Harder than the fires that ravaged our state. This one caught me by surprise. But this time, it was different…. I was reminded that every morning, Jon and I have a choic...
