Kenilworth: Snow

http://www.kenilworth2007.blogspot.com/2006/03/snow.html

A new "blog" to creat an outlet for our photos of Kenilworth and the surrounding area. Mostly of the Castle, which we find endlessly fascinating. Sunday, 5 March 2006. In March 2006 we had a light covering of snow which presented the opportunity for some stunning photos of the castle. Unfortunately, I didn't take many, but did manage to get this shot in the morning sunshine from just by the car park. Posted by Mark and Debbie. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Mark, Debbie, Ben and Thomas' website: Christmas (part 1)

http://debbieandmark.blogspot.com/2010/01/christmas-part-1.html

Sunday, January 10, 2010. This year we spent Christmas with Mark's family in Hollesley. As well as Thomas' first Christmas, it was the first time that Ben really started to understand what was happening, so we had lots of fun. The photos below give a bit of a flavour of our time in Hollesley. Ben grinning from ear to ear as he waits to open his presents. Thomas looking on eagerly. Ben getting to grips with the contents of his new dressing up box (a present from Mummy and Daddy), and Thomas on...On Boxing...

Mark, Debbie, Ben and Thomas' website: April 2011

http://debbieandmark.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html

Saturday, April 30, 2011. We settled down yesterday morning to watch William and Kate's wedding with Dave, Kay and Joshua in Broughton. We didn't quite manage the full street party but Ben and Thomas had some home made flags and waved them as Kate drove up to Westminster Abbey. Thomas was glued to the screen and they both enjoyed the show. We had brunch to keep us going, followed by some lovely cakes from Broughton Village Bakery. Posted by Mark and Debbie. http://debbieandmark.blogspot.com/2011/05/ratty.html

Sunday, May 01, 2011. We had a treat when we went for a ride on the Ravenglass-Eskdale railway. Another gloriously sunny Saturday as they were celebrating their 50th anniversary and La'al Ratty himself was on hand to greet the boys. Ben was very excited to meet Ratty, especially as he was wearing his La'al Ratty cap. Posted by Mark and Debbie. The boys are growing up so quickly :) cute photos. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Saturday, June 23, 2012. Lake District June 2012. We had a damp week in the Lake District at the beginning of June. It started off with a street party in Broughton Square for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee. For this the sun shone. That wasn't quite the last time we saw the sun but it wasn't very enthusiastic the rest of the week. Here's a couple more pictures of Ben at Coniston in the rain and playing by the Duddon. Mark, Debbie, Ben and Thomas' website: Christmas (Part 2)

http://debbieandmark.blogspot.com/2010/01/christmas-part-2.html

Sunday, January 10, 2010. A couple of days later we returned the visit and headed to Debbie's parents for our final Christmas celebration - a lovely afternoon and tea with all the family (below). And then it was all over. Mark's two week "break" seemed to fly by all too quickly. The only thing we didn't get for Christmas that we wanted was a decent night's sleep. Oh well, maybe next year? Mark, Debbie, Ben and Thomas' website: A visit from the rellies

http://debbieandmark.blogspot.com/2010/08/visit-from-rellies.html

Friday, August 13, 2010. A visit from the rellies. Our "Australian" relatives paid us a visit on Friday - Mark's Uncle John and Auntie Jane popped in to stay for the night as part of their grand tour around England (can't believe it is 6 years since we last saw them) and we took them round Kenilworth Castle in the rain - a far cry from the sun-drenched beaches of Sydney. Great to be back in dear old Blighty! Posted by Mark and Debbie. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). A visit from the rellies.

Saturday, March 06, 2010. And then it was Spring! We appear to have been in hibernation this Winter, but now that the sun is shining again and the days are getting longer, it feels like time for another blog post to catch up a bit since Christmas. The main story of the last couple of months has been snow, so here's a few of our adventures:. He also enjoyed playing snow balls with Mummy in the garden. Mark got more than he had bargained for as for a little while he pulled the whole family along, and then ...

http://debbieandmark.blogspot.com/2010/08/harvest.html

Friday, August 13, 2010. We haven't quite caught on to the craze for growing your own vegetables but we have had a few things in the garden this year and harvest time has come at last to the Dawson household with our first crop of beans today and a single solitary strawberry. Ben is as you can see, very excited! Posted by Mark and Debbie. I can see Ben is excited, but Im catching a decidedly low level of enthusiasm on your part, dear writer! Yay beans. Did he eat them?
