The Kennebecasis River is home to some great brook trout angling and in an effort to ensure this continues, there is a catch and release only section on the river. This section runs from the McAuley Road, behind the PotashCorp mine, up to the confluence of Ketchums Brook in Portagevale. You can find a map of the catch and release stretch here.
