Saturday, May 22, 2010. Mother's Day Weekend (better late than never ). I had a wonderful Mother's Day weekend. Mom and Gabby and I went to the Mother's Day Luncheon at our church (this has been a tradition since the early 90's). We had the family over for a brunch which was very fun and yummy! Gabby picked out the perfect gifts for me.the perfect pink shirt and a Starbucks card and the dogs got me my traditional fuchsias for my front porch. Scott, Teresa and Gabby. Wednesday, January 13, 2010. Christma and the new year. We went to Teresa's brother's on Christmas Eve. We had a lot of fun watching the kids and eating the very yummy prime rib dinner that Steve made. On Christmas Day we started out at home having our own celebration and then went to Scott's folks house to celebrate with them and Scott's sister Carol. We ate lots of yummy food that day as well. Then on the 4th we all went back to our normal schedules of work and school. Scott, Teresa and Gabby.

Tuesday, December 23, 2008. A New Christmas Tradition. Shortly after Thanksgiving we were in a store and saw a kit for a gingerbread house and Gabby mentioned that she used to do them with Grandma Doris when she was little. So when I was walking through Sam's Club a couple of week's ago I purchased the kit that they had which was less expensive than the one in the grocery store and had way more candy, frosting and ginger bread. Sunday, March 29, 2009. I tried a new fudge sauce recipe tonight and it was YUMMY! So I printed the recipe and decided to make the sauce to go over ice cream or in a milk shake. Oh my word was it yummy! But the other thing that surprised me is how smooth and glossy the sauce was. Gabby has already asked if I'm going to make the cake as well. Saturday, April 18, 2009. Well she did it! She took her written and driving test and. Passed both with flying colors! So everyone look out she's got her license! Of course you're somewhat safe for a while because she doesn't have her own car to drive and Scott and I think she needs some more experience before we just hand her the keys and let her go. :). Saturday, December 19, 2009. Every year Teresa's family get together and make lefsa. (Lefsa is likie a tortillia only made with mashed potatoes and flour). We enjoy the time together and of course the yummy lefsa! The only down side was that not everyonbe was able to be there and that Gabby and Scott both have scratchy throats.
