Revs Patrick and Rebecca Kihiu were born in Kenya, Africa. Patrick grew up in Nairobi, Kenya, while Rebecca grew up in Mwimutoni village, Escarpment, Kenya. Rebecca became a Christian as a young girl, while Patrick received Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord in 1988. The Kihius ministered in Kenya as young adult leaders and in local evangelism and discipleship for several years before relocating to the USA in the early 90s. The Kihius have three children: Patience Wanjiru, Shalom Kihiu, and Joy Nyangunu.
