Friday, June 15, 2007. Survival Blog: Adventures in Phonecalling. What really bugs me now, though, is the deer and birds. Obviously, this has crossed the species barrier, but. the only things that seem dangerous to us were carnivirous in life. Birds and deer (and Nam and Papa's beef) don't seem interested in feasting on the flesh of the living. I suppose it makes sense, but. what keeps zombified herbivores going? Why do they continue to shamble? And does the zombification pass through them?
