Keeping My Wits About Me. The Mak family is going Meatless for the month of May. Why you ask? Well, I devised this little plan/challenge for lots of reasons. The biggest reason is that I’ve always wanted to try going totally veggie. We already eat meatless at least 2x each week, so we have lots of yummy recipes. A Moment of Clarity. Sunday, January 9, 2011. Yes, I reached 36 years of age this week. I feel like I was celebrating my 35th birthday just a short while ago. This year has flown by! I've been reflecting on myself lately and thought that I would share some of me with you. I am borrowing the list idea from here. Myself feel guilty because I feel spread a little too thin all the time. Chocolate chip cookies for the kids' lunches this week. What else, Diet Coke. A kitchen remodel so bad I can taste it.

Keeping My Wits About Me. I know how into my blog you all are, so surely you remember that May was declared “ Meatless May. 8221; ’round these parts. I also know that you’ve been just dying to know how it went- right? We all ate better and more balanced meals. The girls don’t really like to eat meat- especially Birdy. Keeping My Wits About Me. As many of you know, I recently did some travel for work. This confrence took me to the NGS confrence in Raleigh, North Carolina. In spite of the 5 (yep, 5) flights and a rental car snafu, it was a lot of fun. For the first time ever, I flew over my hometown- I was pretty excited🙂. Keeping My Wits About Me. Great Strides (CFF) Walk. Thanks to AJ, Dad and anyone else who donated to the CFF walk that we participated in this weekend. Our team raised nearly $600 (that was matched by Ancestry) and we won the pizza party! I also won the drawing to attend the Taste of Salt Lake at the TGN table.
