Daily bread from my life's bakery. Saturday, February 14, 2009. A tidy desk makes all the difference. So yesterday i cleaned my desk, it'd accumulated quite a bit of crap over the previous year, not that i hadn't cleaned it before yesterday but not really as extensively. There'd always be something in the way of my mouse to the point where i'd get so frustrated with the constant whacking into things that i'd just go and read a book instead. This is a pretty cool film, Ironside totally makes it for me, though, he's brilliant and the scene where he gets asked out of an audience at a scanner demonstration event and literally blows up the head of the other guy is brilliant. We need more old school games like this one, i was browsing a website the other day that shown updated graphics for old games like Mario World and A Link To The Past. I've followed them nearly all my life, i've grown up with the Gallagher brothers and today sees the release of their sixth album. Saw Hard-Fi last night in London and I can only say that I was terribly disappointed. Apart from the singles they released and the odd song from he album they were reasonably average compared to the other bands I've seen, plus the lead singer thought he was bigger than he actually was. Kids, don't listen to your parents. Drinking is big and it is clever. 9th - Cassette Boy.
