I Speak In Bubbles: Indie Spotlight - Drew Close Interview
http://ispeakinbubbles.blogspot.com/2012/10/indie-spotlight-drew-close-interview.html
Wednesday, October 3, 2012. Indie Spotlight - Drew Close Interview. I conducted an interview with my buddy down under, Drew Close, about his projects and company Cape Billowing Publishing. What is your earliest memory with comics? I remember my dad buying me stack of old marvel comics at a garage (yard) sale. Lots of X-men, Spidey and GI Joe, guess that explains why I'm a Marvel guy. More after the jump. Who were your favorite characters growing up? When did you decide you wanted to make your own comics?

Comics, conservation, music, children's literature, painting and stuff. Friday, July 09, 2004. Yesterday, I took the day off and we all went into Melbourne Zoo. We're members of Friends of the Zoos, so didn't have to pay, but the queues were still long. It does have an amazing ability to absorb large numbers of people pretty effectively though. I'm still chipping away at the Michal Dutkiewicz interview, but it is quite involved, as I'm including some notes he wrote on Verity Aloeha. His story in Eureka.

My meeting last night was with Dave Cunning of Local Act Comics, who have published more comics in the last couple of years than any other local publisher since Cyclone in the 80s and 90s. Dave sees a lot of potential in the character and its refreshing to see this kind of enthusiasm backed up by hard work and real publishing know-how. He also shares my views on production values ...
