Two original characters created by my dear friend Mitsuko. Had a lot of fun working on this piece- although trying to sort out color issues at the end between her computer and mine was kinda crazy. Still haven't quite figured out why the colors get so bleached out when she opens the file on her end. If anyone has an idea, please let me know!

Watch a live feed of an actual nesting hummingbird located in Orange County (Phoebe! Thursday, April 15, 2010. To draw right now is hummingbirds. There is something about these little guys that is SO FUN to draw! It's an obsession that started with watching nesting hummingbirds and their chicks in my backyard.

We went to the Lincoln Park Zoo- free admission! I encourage anyone who gets a chance to go visit! For a free zoo, they have a lot of great animals and exhibits. Hope you're all doing well :).
