There is a time for everything,. And a season for every activity under heaven. Friday, June 3, 2011. Eden had her 2 month check up and now weighs 9 lbs. 7 oz! She is getting so big! I'm happy to say, I think she is about out of newborn size clothing and we are moving on to 3 months. So excited to dress her up in all the cute clothes everyone gave her. Last weekend we took a little road trip to Roanoke, VA to celebrate the marriage of my cousin, Sam and his beautiful bride, Corrie. The weather was gorgeous and the fall foliage was breathtaking! Friday, May 27, 2011. Last week Eden's first cousin was born! Matt and I are thrilled to be "aunt" and "uncle." Adalyn Jane Rice was born May 18, weighing 7 lbs. 4 oz. We are so thankful that she entered this world and that she and Anna are both doing well! How exciting that these 2 little girls are only 6 weeks apart.

When I was in college I got the idea to plan her a 40th birthday. My dad made me tell her (I wanted it to be a surprise), so I designed an invitation and mailed it to her. She adamantly refused a party! So I was thrilled when she was actually ok with us throwing her a 50th party! It ended up being the best party ever! It was classy, elegant, and fun! Outside....

Monday, March 1, 2010. Bulk Foods-Here We Come! My first introduction to an actual "Bulk Foods" Store, along with 5 of my other girl friends and their children! What an experience and one that will not be easily forgotten, not just by us but by the dear Amish family who owns the store! All lined up in our vehicles to follow our friend Tara who was giving us the tour! Learning from Tara what is best to buy here. A display of the many shelves of bulk items-where to start! Evan, Dylan, Tory and Elizabeth!
