Crossing the Pennines Heritage Trail - the Milestone Society

http://www.crossingthepennines.co.uk/aboutus.html

Crossing the Pennines - heritage trail. The Milestone Society is a national registered charity, founded in 2001 to encourage people to care about our wayside heritage which is fast disappearing. We wanted to tell people more about their forebears who made or used these routes, so our volunteers led a group of local community organisations in establishing the Crossing the Pennines Heritage Trail, which showcases the travel and transport history that shaped the West Riding. You can also tweet about it.
