vegan, sixteen: September 2009
http://vegansixteen.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
Most definitely not a food blog; despite cupcake header. Wednesday, September 30, 2009. Whatever, it's a word now. On the very last day of OzMoFo, I was pretty excited to get out of the house yesterday and into the city, finally! Around ten in the a.m, my grandma swung by and we drove around to collect my grandpa before walking to the ferry and taking it across to Circular Quay. The boat was supah-rocky! 160;to have good sea legs. apparently not any more. Everything they sell is vegan! 160;substantiate a...

Vegan In Arkansas: Everything-but-the-Kitchen-Sink Vegetable Soup
http://veganinarkansas.blogspot.com/2012/01/everything-but-kitchen-sink-vegetable.html
Monday, January 23, 2012. But yesterday, I threw caution to the wind and made a huge pot of vegetable soup sans recipe. I know vegetable soup is probably the easiest thing ever to make, but it felt liberating to pick ingredients out of the cabinets and fridge and spices off the rack without a guide telling me precisely what I needed. 1 medium onion, chopped. 2 carrots, sliced. 2 giant cloves of garlic, minced. Half head of cabbage, chopped. 1 32 oz. carton of vegetable broth. Juice of 1 lemon. Toss half ...

Vegan In Arkansas: March 2012
http://veganinarkansas.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html

Life has been busy and good and we've been doing lots of fun things, but for whatever reason, I wasn't inclined or motivated to blog about it. And even though I would like to be consistent, I also never want this blog to feel like a chore. We have not been very diligent in photographing our meals over the past month, but we did snap a few, so here are a couple of meals we enjoyed. It's one...

Vegan In Arkansas: No Football, but Lots of Food and Fun!
http://veganinarkansas.blogspot.com/2012/02/no-football-but-lots-of-food-and-fun.html
Tuesday, February 7, 2012. No Football, but Lots of Food and Fun! Our friend Joel joined us for the evening, so there was still plenty of fun, gameday food to be consumed! Since our entertainment for the evening wasn't working out, we scrolled through Netflix and decided to check out a Comedy Central show called Workaholics. Funny funny stuff. It's pretty crass, gross humor, so if that's not your thing, I don't recommend it.but we laughed our butts off! Next up was this awesome Kraut Baked Spinach Dip.
