My flights got all screwed up (as usual! And I've ended up in the Sydney airport for awhile. But I'll be there soon! My flight to JFK was delayed an extra 3 hours on the runway. Then they rebooked me to Sydney but on a crappy plane with no entertainment! 14 hrs with no entertainment system? What the hell is that? I just think it's funny how every time I travel, which is pretty often nowadays, there's always a problem or two! Posted by Tina G. Why, you ask? Because I've been wanting to do this forever!

Ringing in the New Year @ Canaan Downs. The next day, the party continued but with a different vibe. I watched a few different live bands and particularly enjoyed the reggae acts. The weather was gorgeous and everyone was just lounging around, playing frisbee, and having a good time. A lot of hippies too.I don't think I've seen so many dreds in one place in my life! House-Sitting in Gypsy's Haven. First off, Happy Halloween! I'm a little sad I'm missing my favorite holiday. So eat extra candy for me! Back on the Road Baby! So instead I decided to stop finding all the faults and just enjoy what I had around me. It wasn't easy but it was well worth it. The last week was especially fun because the house was more international. We had an Israeli, an Englishman, an Argintinian, a Dutch girl, Germans and me. They were good company. Large pinch of salt. 6 tbs chilled unsalted butter, cut into 1/2 inch cubes. 1/2 cup old-fashioned oats. 1/2 cup husked hazelnuts, toasted, coursely chopped. I leave out the nuts and add a dash of cinnamon*. Combine flour, sugar and salt (and cinnamon if using) in medium bowl; whisk to blend. Add butter. Friday, December 19, 2008. My little baby girl is getting so big! On Wednesday, she had her first haircut! Her other first: she's cutting her first tooth! On Wednesday night as we were doing our usual pre-bath dance, I noticed a little slit in her gums and the unmistakable whiteness of a little tooth! I've been trying to get a picture, but of course she won't open her mouth now. She's been rubbing her tongue over her gums and cracks me up. For an adorable video of her daughter signing.
