http://fi-land.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Monday, April 18, 2011. From the Mixed-up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler" by E.L. Konigsburg. Oh, wow, I fully forgot that I have a blog. But I have two legit excuses: 1) Two words: Christchurch Earthquake, and 2) I am still getting used to a University workload. Right, on with the review! Or maybe I paid a dollar - but I'm sure that it was 50c. (Why so cheap? A second-hand cancelled library book. I LOVE buying those.). So, overall, I enjoyed the book and it cheered me up during a time I was feeling ...

Welcome to Fi-land: "You're The One That I Don't Want" by Alexandra Potter
http://fi-land.blogspot.com/2010/12/youre-one-that-i-dont-want-by-alexandra.html
Wednesday, December 22, 2010. You're The One That I Don't Want" by Alexandra Potter. I give in. I admit it. I read this book because it had a pretty cover. And the title made it seem interesting. Then again, that's normal for chick lit, isn't it? Maybe it's because I haven't read a chick lit in so long. I was actually a bit iffy about reading a chick lit novel, but the author, Alexandra Potter, is an award winning author and already has seven books under her belt, so I guessed that I was in good hands.

And since this medium is non-existent in New Zealand (or at least unpopular and largely unknown), I have had to turn to the internet. And just excuse me for a moment while I fume about my pet peeve: characters...

Welcome to Fi-land: One of these days
http://fi-land.blogspot.com/2011/08/one-of-these-days.html
Tuesday, August 30, 2011. One of these days. I've just told my Twitter that one day I'll remember his existence. I'm not quite sure how I'm going to win over my blog - he's less forgiving and I have been neglecting him. Than Twitter after all. I only remembered him in the midst of lurking over reviews at Goodreads before remembering that "Hey! I review books too! And then I laughed. So anyway, what's something interesting I can tell you? I had already set the bar of expectations. Anyway, if this book kee...
