Steven's 3D Module Project: October 2008
http://sr26-wildwing64.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
Steven's 3D Module Project. Sunday, 19 October 2008. Tree - Work In Progress. The second object to be used for my October image is nearly complete, and I've been working quite hard on this for the last couple of weeks. Since October is the start of Autumn, I have been working on an Autumn tree, which will be my main focus for said image. After applying meshsmooth, I then extruded some roots from where the original box was, and then applied meshsmooth again. The new branches, as well as the leaves, were c...

Steven's 3D Module Project: April 2009
http://sr26-wildwing64.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
Steven's 3D Module Project. Monday, 20 April 2009. This is, so far, the most complete one out of all three of my idents. Using the Space Shuttle featured in my previous entry, as well as a tutorial that helped me to make Planet Earth, as well as a star field in the background, this is what I have at the moment:. In the above screengrab, I've labeled where I've placed the bomb. It doesn't need to be placed directly into the object to blow it up. As for the fiery blast in the ident itself, that's actually ...

I will also explain the changes I made to each one, except for the rather obvious inclusion of sound. SRTV Ident 1 - Ton Weight. As the SRTV branded ton weight hits the ground. SRTV Ident 2 - Curry. SRTV Ident 3 - Space Shuttle. And last of all, for those of you who want a better look at the holiday photo in Ident 2, here it is, complete with a photo frame:. So what did I think of this Module overall? I act...

Steven's 3D Module Project: September 2008
http://sr26-wildwing64.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
Steven's 3D Module Project. Monday, 22 September 2008. This is a pair of limes that I made in 3DS Max, my very first 3D object. It was originally supposed to be an apple, but I had a bit of difficulty with that and it ended up turning into a lime instead. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). A Blog Concerning Robbo. Steven's 3D Module Project: Space Shuttle
http://sr26-wildwing64.blogspot.com/2009/04/space-shuttle.html
Steven's 3D Module Project. Thursday, 2 April 2009. In my third ident, Ste will be exploring the Final Frontier. in this:. This space shuttle was fairly simple to make, as all I really did was recycle my plane from last semester. Making the neccesary changes to make it look less like an airplane and more like a NASA Space Shuttle. or at least, something closely resembling one. And in this second animation, it's going to "Do a Barrel Roll! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). A Blog Concerning Robbo.

Steven's 3D Module Project: August - Progress so far
http://sr26-wildwing64.blogspot.com/2008/11/august-progress-so-far.html
Steven's 3D Module Project. Thursday, 13 November 2008. August - Progress so far. For August, instead of making an image that makes fun of British Summer, I am instead producing a holiday scene on a beach, including palmtrees, and a plane in the sky. First of all, I shall go through how my plane was made:. The next thing I did was to adjust the shape of the wings as I saw fit, making it look slightly more accurate to a real airplane. As shown in this render, I also attempted to add windows to the plane u...

Steven's 3D Module Project: November 2008
http://sr26-wildwing64.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
Steven's 3D Module Project. Sunday, 23 November 2008. I think one of my strengths throughout this project is my use of materials, although in some cases the objects I've made look fairly good without any, while other objects such as the ice hockey puck, plane and beach ball needed them. My materials are fairly minimalistic and yet work well. My other strengh is that I have been able to create simple but effective scenes for all three of the images I have been working on. One of my weaknesses. Coming up n...
