Once I tried to demonstrate to some animation students how wonderful Steinberg's work looks in a film screen and composed these on a film frame shape.He had drawn the credits of Hitchcock's "The Trouble with Harry" in 1955 and it looked quite amazing.He was also "the hand" that paints for Gene Kelly in "An American In Paris". Lajos Szalay was born in Őrmező , Hungary in February 26, 1909 and died April, 1995, at the age of 86, in Miskolc, Hungary. He left Hungary in 1946 and went to live in France.
