Klezmagic | Klezmer muziek
Klezmagic is een vrolijk ensemble dat klezmermuziek en muziek uit de Balkanlanden speelt. Klezmagic is opgericht door Emirhan Tuga, op de afdeling Zuid van Muziekschool Amsterdam. Het ensemble bestaat inmiddels al vijf jaar, in wisselende samenstelling. Het repertoire bestaat uit volksliederen en feest- en bruiloftsmuziek, waarbinnen veel ruimte is voor improvisatie. Soms zijn de nummers droevig en melancholiek, dan juist weer heel uitbundig, echte feestmuziek om op te dansen. Concert in Hortus Botanicus.

We're based in the San Francisco bay area and our repertoire. Encompasses Eastern European dances, Yiddish theater tunes, and traditional Israeli folk songs. The sound is full and rich: a melodic ensemble of clarinet, violin, flute/piccolo, and accordion – backed by a solid rhythm section of guitar, keyboard, bass/cello, and drums.
