Wednesday, March 31, 2010. Ashton's class put on a wax museum event yesterday, where all the kids dressed up as famous historical people. They all memorized a short bio and when you pressed a button in front of them, they "woke up" and repeated it. Unfortunately, I couldn't make it to her school, but Lynell video taped it for me. Ashton was Betsy Ross and was adorable! Last night, as we went downstairs to watch it, I asked Ashton about the other kids' characters. Ash: "Yes, the Native American lady.".

Thursday, October 21, 2010. The NC State Fair has become a family tradition for us Batchelors. Each year, we head to the fairgrounds with a few ride tickets, pockets full of cash and iron-clad stomachs ready to sample the best the vendors have to offer. Tuesday, January 11, 2011. She just got home from school and told me there was a new boy in one of the kindergarten classes. She said hi to him and he said hi cutie :).
