Sunday, January 22, 2006. Buttons- Well, actually, only Button. Welcome to our new members. Since the ring now has members I have tried to put together a couple of buttons for the ring, unfortunately, one of them is looking a little blurry, so I will have to get back with you with a second button. If you like either feel free to use it, if you don't, feel free to create your own button, and share too! Posted by Jeanette at 5:33 AM. Friday, January 20, 2006. Posted by Jeanette at 10:28 AM.

vanillabean knits: Stitched With Love
http://vanillabeanknits.blogspot.com/2009/02/stitched-with-love.html
There are some problems you can't fix. Not yourself anyway. You have to sit back, understand that you cannot possibly understand how someone may feel, and only offer thoughts and prayers. It's humbling, not knowing how to help a loved one, but just trying your best to do the right thing. I think we've all been there, and will inevitably be there often over our lives. I had to make a hang tag, which is probably my favorite part about homemade gifts. The button tab (sewn on, no button hole needed) really a...

vanillabean knits: Completed: Landscape Scarf
http://vanillabeanknits.blogspot.com/2008/07/completed-landscape-scarf.html
Is completed. What an adorable and fun project. The larger shawl isn't particularly my style, but this small triangular version would be perfect for anyone. To re-cap, I started with three Koigu mill ends, which was equal to about 1-1/2 skeins. The only change I made in the pattern was to add a picot to every row, instead of every other row. I gave it a little bath, and blocked it out slightly to shape the top edge better. My scarf's maiden voyage was at the. I love the picots on every row. i think t...

Knitty D: Lover of all things Beagle, Knitter Extradordinare, Die Hard Fan of Phillies, Eagles, Mets, Indians, Hater of Yankees, Auntie Bach to many, world traveler, average cook and downright COOL CHIC. Friday, September 05, 2008. Return of the YARN SLUT. Yes, the yarn slut has reared her "ugly" head. In an apparent "F-You" to sewing, I've become obsessed with knitting again. The problem continues to be my inability to finish projects and my affinity for starting new ones. Kimono Shawl" in Anne. And sti...
