Knittingburg

August 12, 2015. August 12, 2015. As the summer progresses so is my work in the garden. I’ve barely had any time for knitting for the last month or so. I also feel less inspired simply because it is so hot outside! So now I have a bunch of grey and pink lovely yarn I need to think what to do with. Might still turn into a top. So I went to the website and picked myself some lovely yarn. How gorgeous are ferns! So now I am after a good pattern to use that yarn for. And second, I get to pick my own cut flow...

Colour Mad | Knittingburg

http://knittingburg.com/2015/05/22/colour-mad

May 22, 2015. I am not sure whether it is summer, too much sunshine, too much greenery or something else that has gone to my head but I seem to be obsessed with multi coloured fabrics right now. Just look at this madness:. Cushion cover in progress:. This is going to be the most luxurious cushion cover ever. The yarn here is a rainbow pack from Easyknits. My “bland” knitting is feeling a little left out😉. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. Address never made public). The Knitting Godde...

Body Warmer | Knittingburg

http://knittingburg.com/2015/06/25/body-warmer

June 25, 2015. On Tuesday I went to my favourite yarn shop, Hoop Haberdashery in a town of Tenterden. I’ve just decided if my sister in law doesn’t want my niece to wear this vest I will just give it to someone who will. The pattern I am knitting is Highbury vest. The yarn I’ve picked is lovely extra fine merino DK from Patons. It is soft, non-itchy at all and machine washable. Perfect yarn for kids. I like the little mock cable detail on the vest. I am also still continuing knitting a Shetland shawl.

Zig and zag | Knittingburg

http://knittingburg.com/2015/06/04/zig-and-zag

June 4, 2015. Is finally complete. No more red, yay! I’ve added the tassels to this chevron blanket, and I like it. Thinking of adding those to my yellow and grey one. And here it is with the footstool. I think, overall, I prefer knitted zigzag pattern due to its smoothness and it feels more refined. But I like crochet one too and it will go to live in the conservatory which primarily belongs to the rabbits. They have another poang (what can I say, it is my husband’s favourite chair! No Vampires Allowed | Knittingburg

http://knittingburg.com/2015/07/01/no-vampires-allowed

July 1, 2015. Don’t you just love this time of the year, when everything is bursting with life in the garden and the first harvest is starting to come in. The other day I picked up a bunch of garlic. Makes for a nice little bouquet, with an added extra of scaring off vampires. Double whammy! A couple of weeks ago I bought an ice-cream maker in anticipation of the current heatwave, It is only a basic Andrew James one. But enough about the garden. I’ve finished knitting the Highbury Vest. Address never mad...

Seat cushions | Knittingburg

http://knittingburg.com/2015/05/27/seat-cushions

May 27, 2015. May 27, 2015. Much more comfortable than without the cushion and the cushion fits perfectly in the little dip in the seat. So I’ve decided to crochet a set of seat cushions specifically for the dining chairs. And the front close up:. All in all, I really like the combination of the classic Eames chair design and good old traditional crochet. By Pam Dawson where I spotted a nice Shetland shawl pattern and some yarn to knit that shawl with. Only after I left the shop I realised I bought proba...

Wonderful Needlepoint from Bucherie.com. I love it… →. December 23, 2013 · 9:17 am. Elizabeth Bradley Kit Review. I have done needlepoint for a long time but only recently started buying kits. Before I would start with a blank canvas, wools, and a book. But I thought, wouldn’t it be nice to get a kit so I wouldn’t have to put everything together myself? One of the kits I bought was the Animal Alphabet Rug. I ordered the kit from Wye Needlecraft Ltd. Some inside pics for you next! This is the canvas in box.

The Wendy Johnson Interview from 2003. Elizabeth Bradley Kit Review →. November 20, 2013 · 7:02 pm. Wonderful Needlepoint from Bucherie.com. I recently started working on needlepoint projects again. Currently, I am stitching this Fox by Beth Russell. I am probably going to finish this one soon which led me to look for a new design to stitch. My search found me looking at Bucherie.com. Friday, March 23, 2018. Hello dear reader,. We are so ready for this spring! I've been crocheting some Easter cozies. The blue cozy is half double crochet stitches, round and round with no joins and finished off with a yellow trim;. These are the boxes I store my cozies in (that's our vintage typewriter in the background). The bush with white blossoms is blooming beautifully. And the first hydrangea buds arrived this week.
