Knitting, spinning, quilting, sewing, toddler wrangling, and owned by a Boston Terrier. Monthly Archives: May 2009. It’s the end of May? May 23, 2009. Yeah, I don’t know where the time went. I feel bad because I haven’t posted in forever…. It’s been pure craziness. I’ve been working like a crazy lady, and knitting, and still working on the quilt…. Here are some photos from the past few months of what I’ve been up to. AND a game with Jen, Steve and Rick. Jen and I made a new friend while we were there.

Knitting, spinning, quilting, sewing, toddler wrangling, and owned by a Boston Terrier. Monthly Archives: September 2008. Bogcats on the new sofa. September 19, 2008. Bought a sofa last Saturday. It arrived Wednesday afternoon. Lighting sucks, but it’s really brown, I promise. The kitties love the new sofa but are still knitting pests. I can’t get them to cooperate for a photo op with my knitting on the sofa. Oh well. Back to my knitting! I need a new sofa. September 6, 2008. Found this at Cost Plus/Worl...

Knitting, spinning, quilting, sewing, toddler wrangling, and owned by a Boston Terrier. It’s the end of May? July 3, 2014. Clearly I’m not much of a blogger. But, I’ve been thinking about trying again. So, it’s been a couple years and a lot has changed. Quick review:. 1) Still in Seattle. 2) Now married (I’m still JDub on ravelry, but perhaps JessFar is a more appropriate handle. We’ll cross that bridge eventually). 3) Baby girl is 2 1/2. 4) Still knitting, spinning and sewing. It’s the end of May?

Knitting, spinning, quilting, sewing, toddler wrangling, and owned by a Boston Terrier. Monthly Archives: July 2008. July 29, 2008. This week is shark week on Discovery Channel. At my house it’s scarf week. I need to bust out a few sweaters, but scarves are fun, easy and don’t require me to inventory the stash or cast on a crapload of stitches. Here’s one I started just before the move:. Had a visitor Sunday – my first to the new shack! Such yummy colors make me think of watermelon, strawberries, cantalo...

Devastating the Obvious: 11.08

http://iwalkseattle.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html

A Seattle couple's adventures, creations, interpretations, and outings. We have much to be thankful for this year. Tomorrow marks week 9 of the pregnancy and our little bean will be almost an inch! We're looking forward to spending time with family and I'm hoping to be able to eat at least a decent sized meal. we'll see about that. We haven't done the turkey thing in a few years so we're going to be a little more traditional this year. I have an explanation for the tiredness, lack of blog posts, etc.

A Seattle couple's adventures, creations, interpretations, and outings. This year we have some very exciting things to look forward to and plan for. We will be looking for a new place to call home in about 6 months. oh, say, right around the time of our new arrival :) I'm thinking Ballardia will prevail amongst our choices. Close enough to not need a car, yet far enough to get some space without breaking the bank. Why she has a new little one to knit all sorts of cute things for! With her Dr. Glasses.

Knitting it old school with E to the D to the I to the E

Monday, January 09, 2012. Coconut Mocha Frappe - the adulterated version. I went to my handy dandy computer and began searching for recipes for Godiva Liqueur recipes. I noticed quickly that I didn't have many of the ingredients or other liquors called for in the recipes. Then i found this one. The first step is to make simple syrup. Ok, I can do that. Step two called for combining all the ingredients and freezing for two hours. Ummm, no. That is definitely not gonna happen. 1 50ml Godiva Liqueur. Less s...

Knitting has helped me through illness, surviving sexual, assault, and dealing with homophobia. So when has your knitting helped you? Friday, April 14, 2006. Why do they act the way they do? It hurts. Oh G-d the pain of it all. They should know better. Why? Posted by Knitting It Through at 4:43 am. Wednesday, April 12, 2006. So my partner's mum has been here for some time now. They love each other very much (and they both love me too). It has been good, but. My family is insane! Saturday, April 08, 2006.

Susan's Knitting Socks!

Yes, I am knitting socks! Taking photos and sharing them. Saturday, August 08, 2015. How long has it been since I've paid any attention to this blog? Yes, there has been knitting going on. Not a lot of successful finishes, though. Let me see. That brings me to organization. As you can see, it is a work in progress. Some yarn gets organized, then the mail man brings more.
